On-Site Evaluation
The UCLA Ergonomics Team provides on-site evaluations for all campus employees. If you are feeling discomfort when working, whether or not you think it is related to work, you can schedule an evaluation with one of our campus ergonomists. We will consult with you regarding your workstation set-up and your postural habits, and make recommendations for improvement.
*Please note: Prior to having an on-site evauation we ask all employees to complete BruinErgo, UCLA's ergonomics training and risk assessment survey. Often times employees find the BruinErgo training is sufficient and do not require an on-site visit. Employees are provided the option to confirm they are still interested in having an on-site evaluation at the completion of the BruinErgo training.
How to request an on-site evaluation.
Step 1: Request an on-site evaluation using Service Request Button on Right.
Step 2: Complete BruinErgo (a link is provided once the service request form has been completed).
Step 3: Confirm an on-site evaluation is still desired (employee will be presented an option upon completion of BruinErgo training).
What happens next?
If an on-site visit is still desired following completion of BruinErgo:
Step 1: A campus ergonomist wiill contact you to schedule an appointment. An evaluation will generally take 20-30 minutes.
Step 2: A report will be sent to your supervisor regarding any recommendations as a result of the on-site evaluation.
