Overview
If you work regularly on a laptop, you should use an external keyboard. Using an external keyboard will allow you to raise your laptop screen to an appropriate height and distance which will help reduce strain on your neck and hands. Keyboards come in different sizes and styles. A standard-size keyboard is what most people are used to. Below are a few options that include standard-size keyboards as well as a few options without an attached 10-key number pad.
For tips on setting up your workstation and the use of keyboards consult our Tips for Computer Users webpage.
